摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start clutch control device, in which a start clutch is connected on the higher engine rotation speed side as throttle opening becomes larger, in which the start clutch is connected without generating slip even on the lower engine rotation speed side when the throttle opening is smaller, in which drive control of the start clutch is enabled based on control characteristics in accordance with the intention of a driver regardless of size of the throttle opening, in which startability and start feeling of a vehicle are improved, and in which handling easiness (in U-turn) at low car speed is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The start clutch is provided on the output side of a continuously variable transmission. A control means to drive-control the start clutch is provided to set transmission torque of the start clutch based on the engine rotation speed and the throttle opening, and set the engine rotation speed larger for connecting the start clutch as the throttle opening becomes larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
