PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charcoal which has properties of causing no stain when touched, while the function thereof is unvaried, and which can be used naturally as a fuel almost in the same way as a usual one since it has only paper or nonwoven fabric on the surface. SOLUTION: The charcoal to which the paper or the nonwoven fabric is agglutinated integrally by using water, is provided. After the paper or the nonwoven fabric is agglutinated integrally by using the water, an adhesive is applied partially to the overlapping portions of the paper or the nonwoven fabric to adhere them together.
