PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve data from a database without knowledge for a program. SOLUTION: A window W consisting of a list window L for displaying a list of a plurality of module programs S and an editor window E having a plurality of input boxes B<SB>m</SB>,<SB>n</SB>, for inputting a module name selected by the list window L is displayed on a monitor. An interface is formed between the modules S inputted to the input boxes B<SB>m</SB>,<SB>n</SB>, so that a macro program in which the modules S selected by the list window L are connected can be generated.
