PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device capable of compactly composing a driving part. SOLUTION: The positioning device for a functional apparatus of a printing machine relates to a positioning device having the driving parts 17 and 23 for moving and positioning the functional apparatus to move it to a feeding position or a stopping position in a plane of a side wall part 1 of the printing machine and/or to a printing cylinder, and at least one guide unit 2. In relation to positional adjustment in the vertical direction, a means for performing weight compensation is provided, and it is possible thereby to at least partially reduce a load of the driving part 17 caused by the weight of the functional apparatus.
