PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a thermosensitive element hardly affected by heat generated in a heat source, and to properly detect a temperature of a measuring object such as an outside air temperature in an outside of a detector by the thermosensitive element. SOLUTION: This gas and temperature detector 100 of the present invention has a gas sensor element 140 including an electric heater element 143, a thermistor 150 for detecting the outside air temperature, a wiring board 130 for mounting the gas sensor element 140 and the thermistor 150, and a casing 101 for storing those. The casing 101 has a thermistor storage part 121 for storing at least the thermistor 150 without storing the gas sensor element 140. A thermosensitive coating resin 182 is filled inside the thermistor storage part 121 to coat the thermistor 150, and the thermosensitive coating resin 182 is exposed from an opening 102 of the thermistor storage part 121 to an outside of the casing 101.
