PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiblocking agent for a resin film that comprises a polybasic salt of a composite metal having a definite crystalline structure and being different from that of a hydrotalcite in the crystalline structure and that is excellent in the combination of dispersibility in a resin, transparency of a blended resin and antiblocking performance. SOLUTION: The antiblocking agent comprises the polybasic salt of the composite metal having a chemical composition represented by formula (1): M<SP>3+</SP><SB>p</SB>M<SP>2+</SP><SB>q</SB>(OH)<SB>y</SB>(A)<SB>z</SB>-nH<SB>2</SB>O wherein M<SP>3+</SP>denotes a trivalent metal; M<SP>2+</SP>denotes a divalent metal: A denotes an inorganic or organic anion; each of p, q, y and z is independently a number satisfying formula (I) to formula (IV); and n is a number not greater than 7, provided that formula (I) is 3p+2q-y-mz=0 (wherein m is a valence number of the anion A); formula (II) is 0.3≤q/p≤2.5; formula (III) is 1.5≤y/(p+q)≤3.0; and formula (IV) is 1.0≤(p+q)/z≤20.0.
