PURPOSE: A method for restricting the concurrent use for the same card number on an intelligent network based prepayment card is provided to correctly charge a fare of a prepayment card service by restricting that users use the prepayment card service with the same card number at the same time. CONSTITUTION: If a prepayment card service call is generated from the user, a terminal switching system transfers the service call to an SSP(Service Switching Point), and the SSP transfers the prepayment card number to an SCP(Service Control Point) equipped with a prepayment card service logic(S4). The SCP judges the permission of the prepayment card number by searching a 'CurrInuse' table(S6). If the prepayment card number is not registered to the table, the prepayment card number is registered to the table, and the call connection to a number requested from the user is tried(S20). In case that the prepayment card number is registered to the table, a service use denial is informed to the user if a time interval is within a predetermined time(S12). If not, the call connection is tried after updating the prepayment card number to the table.
