PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advanced method of repairing or modifying a single crystal component used in a gas turbine engine or fabricating it in a small scale by butch.

SOLUTION: Using an isothermal soldering method and a wax material, two previously fabricated components of single crystal SX or directional solidification DS having orientation in harmonic crystal are joined to each other. After that an epitaxial or non-epitaxial layer is attached on the surface of an article 1 and a braze joint section 22 using a laser metal forming process.
