PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitive, accurate and inexpensive magnetostriction torque sensor easily processed so as to have magnetic anisotropy in a torque sensing part. SOLUTION: In the magnetostriction torque sensor having a wound coil for applying a magnetic field around a rotational shaft and sensing the torque based on a coil impedance change due to distortion on the rotational shaft by the torque externally applied, first and second sensing parts having a wound linear magnetostriction material are provided on a surface of the rotational shaft.
