PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of handling a thin glass panel which is capable of handling a thin glass panel without causing any damage thereon even when the thin glass panel is large in area because the thin glass panel is backed with a support board, and capable of lastly separating the thin glass panel from an adhesive agent and the support board easily. SOLUTION: The method of handling the thin glass panel 1 is carried out through a manner, wherein the thin glass panel 1 is pasted on the support board 2 higher in rigidity than the thin glass panel 1 through the intermediary of an adhesive sheet 3 with an adhesive layer 3a that deteriorates its adhesive force by stimulation for the formation of a laminate 4, and the laminate 4 is transferred. Or, the thin glass panel 1 is subjected to treatment or processing as it is fixed to the support board 2, whereby stimulation is given to the adhesive layer 3a to deteriorate its adhesive force, and then the thin glass panel 1 is separated from the support board 2 and the adhesive sheet 3.
