PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner allowing the easy fixing of a heat exchanger onto a bottom plate without using the side plate of the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 3 comprises a holding part having a pair of holding bodies 6c with a storage part storing a hair pin part 3b and a hinge part 6b and allowed to be opened and closed. The heat exchanger holdingly stores the hair pin part 3b in the storage part by a fixing device 8 having a column body 7c with a screw part formed of a through-hole 7a formed in one of the holding bodies 6c corresponding to a through-hole formed in the flange part 1a of the bottom plate 1 and a screw hole 7b projectedly formed on the other of the holding bodies 6c oppositely to the through-hole 7a.
