PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of positioning a disk in a clamp position in a simple structure, and not blocking the rotation of a disk surely when playing. SOLUTION: When detection projections 62, 72 pushed by the outer peripheral edge of a disk are pushed open left and right to insert a disk D, the disk D is conveyed toward the farther side of the device by a conveying roller 7. When the disk D reaches a clampable center position, the disk D is abutted on positioning projections 82, 92 to be positioned. After the positioning of the disk D, a roller bracket 8 for supporting the rotation of the conveying roller 7 is moved to the position of being retreated from a disk surface. At this time, binding parts 8b, 8b disposed in the roller bracket 8 bind the detection projections 62, 72 to enable the separation of the positioning projections 82, 92 from the outer peripheral edge of the disk D.
