PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester conjugate fibers excellent in lightweight property together with light shielding properties and physical properties. SOLUTION: The polyester conjugate fibers excellent in lightweight property, is a sea-island type polyester conjugate fiber comprising the polyester and a thermoplastic polymer (excluding polyester) not having a maleimide structure, wherein the island components comprise more than two components and not continuously dispersing in the fiber axis direction, the fiber has maximum dispersion diameter≤5μm in the cross section of the monofilament,≤1.2 of fiber apparent specific gravity and 2.5 cN/dtex of fiber strength.
