<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloride ion selective material having high selective permeability of the chloride ions relative to carbonate ions, bromide ions, iodide ions and perchlorate ions which are interfering ions to chloride ions respectively. <P>SOLUTION: This chloride ion permselective material comprises a copolymer of styrene A wherein a substituent containing a tri-long chain alkyl ammonium group is added to a benzene ring, styrene B wherein a substituent containing a tri-long chain alkyl ammonium group (the total number of carbon atoms in each alkyl is different from the total number of carbon atoms in each alkyl in the substituted styrene A), and an alkene compound having a hydrophilic group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
