PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody flooring which is not deformed largely in a recessed groove and in which breaking can be prevented and the expansion and contraction of a floor base material in the case of the use and the case of the non-use of a heating apparatus is reduced. SOLUTION: In the woody flooring 1, a plurality of recessed grooves 6 are formed from the rear side of the laminated floor base material 2 with a plurality of plies, the recessed grooves 6 are formed in the short-side direction W crossed with the long-side direction L of the floor base material and the recessed grooves 6 are formed so that the fibrous direction S2 of a base is formed along the long-side direction L of the floor base material 2. The floor base material 2 is formed of plywood composed of an odd number of plies, and crossed plywood in the fibrous directions S1 and S5 in the short-side direction W of the floor base material is used preferably as the first ply 2a and the fifth ply 2e of a surface and a rear.
