PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servomotor and a stator core for simultaneously obtaining more flatness in an axial direction, on improvement in cooling efficiency, and a simpler ventilation path structure. SOLUTION: The servomotor comprises a rotor core 4, a stator core 3 arranged outside, a cooling path 12 formed on an outer circumference, and a rotor fan 14 or 16 that feed an axial stream blast to the cooling path 12. The effective rotational region of the rotor fan 14 overlaps the cooling path 12 in the axial direction. The inside of the effective rotational region is formed as a space. Motor components are arranged in the space. The motor components include a part of a rotating shaft, a tachometer, or a bearing supporting the rotating shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
