PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic instrument by which an operator definitely identifies a two-way C arm apparatus for biplane fluoroscopic imaging, and safely operates the apparatus. SOLUTION: An image receiving system 7 (a front system) with an X-ray tube 6 and a display light 12 positioned at both the ends of a C arm 11 held from a floor, and an image receiving system 9 (a side system) with an X-ray tube 8 and a display light 13 positioned at both the ends of a C arm 10 held from a ceiling, are set around the lesion of a subject 16 lying on the table 15a of a bed 15. When the operator turns on a front system changeover switch 2 and a side system changeover switch 3 in an operation console 1, the display lights 12 and 13 are turned on. The operator confirms it, performs fluoroscopic imaging, and operates a catheter, while observing fluoroscopic images on a monitor 14 hung from the ceiling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
