IMAGE SYNTHESIZING METHOD AND IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE FOR OBTAINING IMAGES WITH WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE WHILE HAVING COLOR BALANCE AND WHITE BALANCE

PURPOSE: An image synthesizing method and an image capturing device are provided to obtain images with a wide dynamic range while having color balance and white balance. CONSTITUTION: An image synthesizing method carries out gain correction(42a,42b) and gamma correction(43a,43b) on color signals of high-power image data and color signals of low-power image data, synthesizes the high-power image data and low-power image data(44), and transforms the color signals of the synthesized image data into a luminance signal and a color difference signal. The data corresponding to the sum of the low-power image data and high-power image data is multiplied by a total gain in response to a scene to be the synthesized image data. The saturation of the synthesized image data is corrected in response to the dynamic range and luminance value of the synthesized image data(49).
