PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the incursion of an effluent such as earth and sand, water or the like produced inside a tunnel into a shaft while the front end of a shield machine arrives at a position of a sealing member in a tunnel portal. SOLUTION: A detachable chamber 5 covering the surroundings with a size capable of storing the shield machine 2 pulled out from the tunnel portal is connected to the outside of a cylindrical member 4 provided on the shield tunnel portal in the shaft 1 to accumulate the effluent such as earth and sand, water or the like flowing out from the tunnel portal while the front end of the shield machine 2 arrives at a position of a rubber packing 6 mounted to the cylindrical member 4 to prevent the incursion of those effluents into the shaft 1.
