PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin molded body that shows transparency. SOLUTION: The for manufacturing method the transparent biodegradable resin molded body comprises: a pre-molding step wherein a plate of an amorphous biodegradable resin is formed; a pre-heating step wherein the obtained biodegradable resin plate is heated up to its softening starting temperature; a compression-crystallization step wherein the biodegradable resin plate, controlled to a temperature of the glass transition temperature or higher and the melting point or lower of the biodegradable resin, is compressed at a three-fold or more drawing ratio with a die whose molding faces contacting with the biodegradable resin plate are coated with a friction reducing agent and wherein the biodegradable resin is made to crystallize; and a step wherein the biodegradable resin plate is removed from the die and cooled.
