PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional communication device having a hardly variable setting structure and allowing data transfer only in a single direction for preventing invasion from the opposite direction. SOLUTION: This unidirectional communication device is provided with parts 6 and 7 performing transmission only in one direction according to an asynchronous protocol. The part 6 is constructed of a receipt means 12 receiving data transmitted from a host A3 via a network A2 and an asynchronous transmission means 13 transmitting the data received by the receipt means 12 to the part 7 according to the asynchronous protocol. The part 7 is provided with an asynchronous receipt means 16 receiving the data transmitted by the asynchronous transmission means 13 in the part 6 and a transmission means 17 transmitting the data received by the asynchronous receipt means 16 to a host B5 via a network B4.
