PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of dew condensation water generated in a connecting pipe connecting an existing water supply spout, a hot water spout, a water supply port of a water faucet, and a hot water supply port without covering the connecting pipe with insulation material on the inside of a faucet fitting panel in changing the fitting position of the water faucet to another position using a water faucet fitting panel also serving as a pipe cover. SOLUTION: This water faucet fitting device includes: a water faucet fitting panel 16 also serving as a pipe cover having a top plate part 30, a front plate part 32 and a lower plate part 34, forming a storing space 36 inside in a space up to a mounting wall W and mounting the water faucet 18 on the front thereof; and the connecting pipe 38 connecting a supply spout 40, a hot water spout 41, a water supply port of the water faucet 18, and a hot water supply port in the storing space 36. The lower plate part 34 of the water faucet fitting panel 16 is provided with a water release hole 62 for discharging dew condensation water dropping from the connecting pipe 38 to a sink 12.
