PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cover, easily installed on a bridge body and preventing corrosion of a main girder suitably keeping the shape of the sheet against wind pressure in simple constitution, and a construction method for it. SOLUTION: In the bridge in which the side and the lower surface of a bridge body are covered with sheets, the sheet 4 having outdoor durability is supported and stretched to freely slide by a plurality of intermediate support materials 8, both ends of which are fixed to the upper side end of the bridge, the middle part of which is projected from the bridge body, the sheet abutting part at the tip of the intermediate support material 8 is provided with a non-edge support member (a corner bending preventing member) 10 extended in the axial direction of the bridge, and the intermediate support material 8 in at least one portion of the intermediate support material 8a in the central part is provided with a spring mechanism 32 including a spring having a designated spring constant and a pressing mechanism 18.
