A diaper (1A) comprises a liquid absorbent core (2) extending between front and rear trunk regions (5, 7), a liquid-permeable first sheet (3) covering t he upper and lower surfaces (11, 12) of the core (2), and a liquid-impermeable second sheet (4). In the diaper (1A), a dehiscence region (13) longitudinall y extending through and between the upper and lower surfaces (11, 12) of the core (2) is formed in the front trunk region (5) and in a below-the-crotch region (6). The cover upper section (14) of the first sheet (3) extends from the upper surface (11) of the core (2) through the dehiscence section (13) t o emerge below the dehiscence section (13), while the cover lower section (15) of the first sheet (3) extends downward from the dehiscence section (13) of the core (2), these upper and lower sections (14, 15) being developed transversely outward around the dehiscence section (13), whereby a penis receiving bag (16) is defined below the dehiscence section (13).
