PURPOSE: An air conditioning unit is provided to prevent bacteria, stink or corrosion of the evaporator from collection of condensate by actively draining condensate from the evaporator with forming the large drainage space between the lower part of the evaporator and the lower part of the air conditioner case. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning unit is composed of an evaporator(110) having a protruded part(116) and a non-protruded part(117) in the lower part; an air conditioner case(120) having a condensate discharge port(123) discharging condensate from the surface of the evaporator; and a thermal insulating member(124) installed in the lower part of the air conditioner case and composed of a projected part(125) supporting the protruded part of the evaporator and a recessed part(126) restricting the drain space with the non-protruded part of the evaporator. The recessed part of the thermal insulating member is inclined downward for the condensate discharge port.
