The invention concerns a motor vehicle braking system comprising brake actuators and a central computer including means (20) for producing a deceleration setpoint (C) based on a braking setpoint value resulting from actuation of a brake pedal of the vehicle to slave the vehicle deceleration on said deceleration setpoint.
