APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING RUSH CURRENT IN MOTOR AND DYNAMIC BRAKING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing rush currents in a motor and a dynamic braking device are provided to reduce parts number when designing a circuit and to reduce a size and a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic braking device comprises a diode rectifying unit(30) for rectifying power supplied from an AC power source; a capacitor(40) for smoothing the power; a resistor(62) disposed between the AC power source and the capacitor; an inverter(50) connected to the both end sides of the capacitor and a power input terminal of the motor; a dynamic braking circuit for shorting the power input terminal of the motor; and a relay unit(64) including a first contact point for connecting the dynamic braking circuit with the resistor and a second contact point for connecting the resistor with the capacitor in parallel.
