Device for delivering a signal tune to a user comprises the following: a unit (10) for analysis of an audio signal received from a user that contains a desired user tune in order to produce a machine processable analysis melody; a unit (14) for generating a signal melody file from the analysis melody, whereby the file is produced in a predefined file format and; a unit for provision of the signal melody for the user.
