METHOD FOR FORMING INSULATION COATING ON ELECTROCHEMICAL ELECTRODE USING APIEZON WAX

PURPOSE: A method for forming an insulation coating on electrochemical electrode using Apiezon wax is provided to minimize contact resistance by insulation coating a desired part of the electrode using the Apiezon wax. CONSTITUTION: In a method for insulating a part of an electrochemical electrode requiring insulation, the method for forming an insulation coating on the electrochemical electrode using Apiezon wax comprises a step of preparing an insulation coating solution formed by melting 5 to 15 g of Apiezon wax into 20 ml of 1,1,1-trichloroethane organic solvent at a temperature of 20 to 50 deg.C; and a step of drying the insulation coating solution coated on the electrode after coating the insulation coating solution on a part of the electrode requiring insulation.
