MANUFACTURING METHOD OF EQUAL CHANNEL ANGULAR PRESSING DIE HAVING WEAR RESISTANT CHANNEL

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of equal channel angular pressing die having wear resistant channel is provided to partially improve wear resistance of a part receiving excessive frictional force by forming a coating layer on an inclination plane of lower die which is severely worn out during equal channel angular pressing at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of forming a coating layer(14) by thermal spray coating a mixture onto vertical upper channel(10a) and inclined lower channel(10b) formed by union of upper die(11) and lower die(12), wherein the mixture comprises 60 to 95 wt.% of one type of powder selected from carbide powder, nitride powder and boride powder and a balance of one or two types of powders as binder selected from cobalt powder, nickel powder and copper powder; and a step of milling the surface of the coating layer.
