The running wheel is designed for self-propelled machines using pneumatic tyres. It improves the cohesion between the tyre and the road surface. It comprises a hub (1) with a fixed metal wheel (2), on which the pneumatic tyre (3) is mounted with a tread (4) and side walls (5, 6) with edges (7, 8). Edge (rim) (8) of one of the side walls (6) is fixed to the edge (rim) ring (9) which is resting, radially and axially, in the end of the metal wheel (2). To the metal wheel (2) a front disk (10) is fitted, and grooves (11) are machined in it with teeth (12) of the edge (rim) ring (9) engaged in them with a two-way circular travel. Between the metal wheels (2) and ring (9) a sealing element (14) of a known type is provided. 5 claims, 8 figures
