PURPOSE: An impact pad for tundish is provided which suppresses splash of molten steel spouted from nozzle and easily removes impurities in molten steel by reducing momentum of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: In an impact pad(25) installed in tundish(21) of continuous caster, the impact pad comprises a body formed in a rectangular parallelopiped box shape as a whole; inflow port and outflow port formed on one surface of the body; and a depression and prominence part formed on the inner wall of a surface oppositely directed to the inflow port and outflow port formed surface of the body, wherein the inner wall of four surfaces contacted with the inflow port and outflow port formed surface has a side inclination angle, wherein a net or honeycomb shaped lattice is formed on the inflow port, wherein the outflow port is inclined to the outflow port formed surface, wherein ribs for mounting the impact pad on tundish are formed on second surface or fourth surface of the body, wherein the outflow is formed at a symmetrical position of both sides of the inflow port, wherein only one of the outflow is formed on the side of the inflow port, wherein a buffer space is formed in the body, and wherein cross section of the depression and prominence part is formed in a triangular, rectangular or circular shape.
