To provide a device monitoring system, device monitoring program, and device monitoring method which can monitor device status quickly without increasing the load on device management servers or increasing network traffic. <??>Devices 10 connected to a network N are provided with a device monitoring function 20 for monitoring another device 10 and notifying a device management server 12 or a third device 10 of any abnormality.
