COOLANT BASED ON AZOLE DERIVATIVES CONTAINING 1,3-PROPANEDIOL FOR FUEL CELL COOLING SYSTEMS

Use is claimed in the production of anti-freeze concentrates for fuel cell coolants based on 1,3-propanediol (optionally together with alkylene glycols or their derivatives) of 5-membered heterocyclic compounds (azoles) which have 2 or 3 sulfur or nitrogen atoms with a maximum of 1 S and which optionally also have an annelated aromatic or unsaturated 6-membered ring. An Independent claim is also included for such anti-freeze concentrates which are used in the production of ready-to-use 1,3- propanediol-based fuel cell coolants with maximum conductivity 50 microS/cm.
