IN A METHOD FOR OPERATING A POWER PLANT, WHICH IS COMPOSED ESENTIALLY OF A GAS TURBINE GROUP, OF A DOWNSTREAM WASTE-HEAT STEAM GENERATOR AND OF A STEAM CIRCUIT LOCATED DOWNSTREAM OF THE WASTE-HEAT STEAM GENERATOR, THERE CIRCULATES, IN A HEAT EXCHANGE STAGE (15C) OF THE WASTE -HEAT STEAM GENERATOR (15) THROUGH WHICH THE WASTE GASES OF THE GAS TURBINE GROUP FLOW, SAID HEAT EXCHANGE STAGE OPERATING IN THE LOWER TEMPERATURE RANGE, A FLUID QUANTITY (35) WHICH IS ABOVE A NOMINAL FLUID QUANTITY RELATED TO THE WASTE GASES. AT THE END OF SAID HEAT EXCHANGE STAGE (15C), THAT FRACTION (36) OF THE FLUID QUANTITY WHICH IS ABOVE THE NOMINAL FLUID QUANTITY IS BRANCHED OFF AND UNDERGOES STEAM RELEASE IN AT LEAST ONE PRESSURE STAGE (23, 25). A STEAM QUANTITY (41, 43) OCCURRING THEREIN IS INTRODUCED INTO THE PROCESS OF THE GAS TURBINE GROUP DOWNSTREAM OF A COMPRESSOR (1) BELONGING TO THE GAS TURBINE GROUP.
