The present invent refers to an absorbent matrix to be used in a disposable absorbent article having an upper part, a lower part, two longitudinal edges, two transversal edges, a frontal zone, a rear zone and a central zone, constituted by a support layer which gives body to the matrix and by an absorption layer that absorbs and retains exudates, so the support layer comprises the 100% of the absorbent matrix area and the absorption layer comprising a maximum of approximately 70% of the support layer area.
