<p>The invention relates to a gas separator with automatic level control for the separation of immiscible fluids of different densities in oil wells. According to the invention, the gas separator with automatic level control ensures the control of the liquid level from the separator by the fact that at its upper portion the separator (8) is provided with a packer (26) located over the settling vessel (3) for isolating the lower side of the well, wherein the settling vessel (3) is located from a space (25) in the upper side of the well, while a control valve (29) is mounted on a gas exit pipe (28) so as to allow the passage of the gas from the lower side of the packer (26) to the upper side of the packer (26) and which is connected to the settling vessel (3) so that the movement of the settling vessel (3) opens and closes the control valves (29), the movement being permitted by an helical spring (30) mounted on the production column (22). The helical strips (37, 38) are mounted lengthwise of the whole height of the settling vessel (3).</p> |
