HOME SERVER USING GENERAL PHONE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A home server using a general phone and a control method thereof are provided to provide an Internet voice call, an picture call, and a Web common browser in a home server-centered environment and control the home server by using a general phone. CONSTITUTION: Software for home collaboration service is mounted in a home server(101), hardware required for the home collaboration service is connected, and the home server(101) is connected to the Internet through a home gateway(105). The home server(101) controlled by a general phone(102) includes software for controlling an Internet voice call, a picture call, and a Web common browsing service by using the general phone(102). The general phone(102), a CCD camera(103) and a digital TV(104) are connected, which are connected to the Internet through the home gateway(105). The home server(101) provides a port for connecting the general phone(102), and connects the CCD camera(103) with an input unit and the digital TV(104) with an output unit.
