PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a liquid crystal cell of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent a cut face of a black matrix from corrosion. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate(200) including a plurality of cells in which a black matrix(240) and a color filter are formed and the second substrate(100) including a plurality of cells in which thin film transistors are formed are prepared. The first and second substrates are cleaned. Alignment films are respectively formed on the first and second substrates. A seal pattern(135) is formed on one of the first and second substrates and spacers are dispensed on the substrate. The first and second substrates are attached to each other. A scribing line(242) is formed on a portion of the first substrate, which is disposed outside the black matrix, and the attached substrate is cut into unit cells.
