摘要

PURPOSE: A double refraction optical film, an oval polarizer using the double refraction optical film, and an LCD device using the optical film and the oval polarizer are provided to realize high orientation while comprising small photoelastic coefficients, consequently a phase difference value can be easily controlled and excellent heatproof and moisture-proof properties are obtained. CONSTITUTION: A double refraction optical film contains more than two kinds of polymer materials. A multiplied value in total of photoelastic coefficients and a volume fraction of each polymer material satisfies a mathematical formula 1. At least one kind of other polymer material is contained as well.
