摘要 PURPOSE: A channel insertion extracting device of an OXC(Optical Cross-Connect) system is provided to use a wavelength variable-type optical transceiver instead of a wavelength fixed-type optical transceiver, thereby reducing the number of optical transceivers as many as the number of assigned ports. CONSTITUTION: A channel insertion portion(210) enables a subordinate system(240) to insert a channel, and replaces with a normal optical transceiver if an inner optical transceiver has a channel insertion failure. A channel extraction portion(220) receives an optical channel from an OXC switch(200), and replaces with a normal optical transceiver if an inner optical transceiver has a channel extraction failure. The channel insertion portion(210) consists of two channel insertion switches(211,213) and an optical transceiving portion(212). The channel extraction portion(220) consists of two channel extraction switches(221,223) and an optical transceiving portion(222).
