PURPOSE: Structure for preventing rotation of a steering column is provided to reduce driver's injury by preventing the steering column from moving upward. CONSTITUTION: Structure for preventing rotation of a steering column comprises a tilt bracket(12) through which a column tube(10) passes; a distance bracket(14) mounted inside the tilt bracket to move the column tube up and down by an operation lever by supporting the column tube; a mounting plate(18) installed to the upper part of the tilt bracket and mounted with capsules on the sides; a spring(20) elastically connecting the mounting plate and the distance bracket; and a rotation-preventing member(22) fixed to the column tube, to prevent the rotation of the tilt bracket caused by the attraction of the spring by coming in contact with the tilt bracket.
