The machine tool cutter (10) has a support (12) on the periphery of which is a seating for a removable insert (14) with at least one cutting edge (44). The seating has a surface (22,24) which abuts a face on the insert. There is a wedge (16,18) interposed between the surface of the seating and the insert. Claims include a method of reconditioning the claimed tool.
