Described is a method for the identification of agents influencing cardiovascular function utilising teleost alevin. The method is also applicable for the identification of genes regulating heart function. The figure shows the effects of cardiac pharmaceutical (at a concentration of 100 ìM) on the heart beat rate of 2-day old zebrafish larvae. |
