<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler cap structure, which can eliminate static electricity quickly charged on a worker even if the worker covers his or her hands with gloves or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The filler cap structure comprises a cap body 3, which is fitted on and removed from a fuel inlet of a fuel tank and has a male thread to screw with the fuel inlet, and a handle 4 for operating the cap body 3. The handle 4 has a piezoelectric element 7 to generate voltage when pressure is applied, a press means 6 to press the piezoelectric element 7, and an ion generating electrode 8 connected electrically to the piezoelectric element 7. The piezoelectric element 7 generates voltage when pressed by the press means 6, and the ion generating electrode 8 generates ions on the basis of the generated voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
