PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sustained release urination disturbance-treating agent capable of precisely controlling the initial releasing amount of the urination disturbance-treating agent, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The sustained release urination disturbance-treating agent containing tamsulosin or its pharmaceutically permissible salt as an active ingredient is provided by containing a dissolution-controlling agent containing an acrylate polymer or copolymer and a poloxamer, and includes the sustained release urination disturbance-treating agent constituted with a primary release-controlling system containing a primary dissolution-controlling agent containing the tamsulosin or its pharmaceutically permissible salt, the acrylate polymer (including the copolymer) and the poloxamer, and a secondary release-controlling system constituted by coating the primary release-controlling system with a coating liquid containing at least a secondary dissolution-controlling agent, and the method for producing the same. The treating agent requires a simple producing process and it is possible to precisely control the initial releasing amount by adjusting the amount of the coating liquid on coating after granulating the treating agent.
