PURPOSE: Provided is an idle shaft assembly of a non-metal sludge collector which cuts off inflow of sludge between inner side walls of a stove shaft and a retainer plate and an idle sprocket when operating the sludge collector. CONSTITUTION: The idle shaft assembly prepared by inserting an idle sprocket(2) into a stove shaft(1) of the non-metal sludge collector and assembling a retainer plate(3) with a bolt(4) is characterized in that springs(12,13) and packing rings(15,16) are respectively inserted into packing ring inserting parts(8,9) and a number of spring inserting part(10,11) respectively formed on inner side walls(6,7) of the stove shaft and the retainer plate, pins(24,25) are inserted on pin holes(18,19,20,21) respectively formed on one side of the packing ring inserting parts and packing rings and the idle sprocket is able to rotate with keeping a close state among the idle sprocket, the stove and the retainer plate by the packing ring impacted to the springs.
