PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive apparatus for producing soft ice drink enabling easily making smooth tasty soft ice drink such as smoothie even at home through bringing a cutting pivot and a stirring pivot to the same pivot, making the pivots separable from each other and making driving force common to each other. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the soft ice drink has an upper casing having a material-cutting means for cutting a material including ice by relatively rotating, a lower casing located below the upper casing and a soft ice drink container to be held in the lower casing. The apparatus for producing the soft ice drink is detachably set with stirring blades for stirring the material cut by the material-cutting means on the bottom of the drink container. The drink container has a lock mechanism, and when unlocked, the stirring blades are in an unrotated condition.
