PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable editing terminals more than synchronous input/output ports of na AV server to read in AV data from the AV server simultaneously in parallel, to enable an editing terminal to read in AC data from the AV server through follow-up reproduction, and to shorten a wait time that an editing terminal has when reading in AV data of frames at intervals. SOLUTION: Provided is a recording device 2 which is capable of faster access than a recording means in the AV server and connected to a plurality of editing terminals 1, each of which includes a 1st processing means of requesting transfer of AV data from a synchronous input/output port of the AV server 4 to the recording device 2 and a 2nd processing means of reading in AV data recorded in the recording device 2 at a request made by the 1st processing means.
