PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop device for a vehicle capable of avoiding an engine from automatically stopping upon waiting to turn right at an intersection and adapting a vehicle to traffic states to allow the vehicle to start turning right immediately. SOLUTION: The idling stop device for a vehicle with an engine controlling means for automatically stopping the engine when predetermined idling stop conditions are satisfied during a stopping state is characterized in being equipped with a detecting means for detecting the working state of winkers, and the engine controlling means avoiding automatic stopping of the engine based on detection by the detecting means of the right turn ON state of a winker.
